The use of e-cigarettes or “vaping” has been increasing over the past 5 years. In late 2018, the U.S. Surgeon General declared youth vaping an epidemic across the nation and in 2019 we saw the emergence of e-cigarette and vaping associated lung injuries (EVALI). We know that youth are at a higher risk of using electronic devices that carry high levels of nicotine.
